We really had a wonderful stay at Casa Bianca and can absolutely recommend this lovely place to everybody.

Recommended for: Age 55+, Sightseeing, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children Owner's Response: Vielen Dank Jochen & Familie für ihre Warmherzigkeit und Freundlichkeit.

A very large and comfortable house, with peace and quiet. We had ambitious sight-seeing plans that had to be ditched because the kids just wanted to hang around the house. In the end, we, the adults, took it in turns stay home whilst the others could get about and do the rounds of the sights and attractions. Lisbon was amazing and so was Obidos, not to be missed. The villa was clean and well equipped with desk top computer, WiFi, but for some reason the signal on the top floor was less than quick - Downstairs it was really quick. Plenty of movies, kids DVDs, board games, video games and a nice pool table in the games room. The swimming pool had a waterfall / cascade that the children loved. If you are looking for complete relaxation from your holiday and plenty of space with a well-equipped house, then Casa Bianca is where you should go for you holiday.

We stayed at this beautiful villa for a week we were a party of ten including 4 small children it was spotlessly clean and had everything we could wish for. The beach at Foz is about half an hour away and is perfect for children the parking there is free but there are no sunbeds or umbrellas, so we took the folding chairs from the villa and a picnic coming back after lunch to swim in the pool. We ate out every night as we found the food very good and surprisingly cheap! Great place to go to avoid all things English and see the real Portugal Recommended for: Age 55+, Adventure Seekers, Sightseeing, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children, Romantic Getaway Owner's Response: Thanks Marian I am so pleased all went well for you and that you liked to villa as well. It really is a wonderful house for families. I will pass on your comments to Guida the caretaker and Rui, the gardener who will be delighted their efforts paid off. You will be very welcome here if you ever think to re-do the holiday for a longer spell. Take care all.

My thanks to Brendon and staff for the fantastic facilities. Family of 7 set off from the UK to get some late autumn sunshine. This was an opportunity to take my elderly parents along as well as they had never visited Portugal before - not even the Algarve! The villa was clean and welcoming and contained just about everything you could ever want on a holiday and more. We love the games room and the great views from the large balcony. It was so lovely sitting up there and watching the work going on in the vineyards around harvest in the valley below. A dos Francos proved to be very well connected to the A15 / A 8 motorways that could either take you further inland or down to the sea side. It took us just 15 odd minutes to get to Peniche. Thanks for all the tips about places to go visit. We particularly enjoyed the short drive up to Munto Junto and Alenquer and so many other little places that you would not normally find in any of the brochures. We really hope to come back again with the children and perhaps spend a fortnight here either in June or July, if possible. Recommended for: Age 55+, Adventure Seekers, Sightseeing, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children, People with Disabilities, Romantic Getaway Owner's Response: Cheers Nanna. Hope you will make it here again. A 2 week stint would be much better during the spring or summer. We look forward to hearing from you. I will let Fatima and the staff know that their efforts were appreciated by you.

Stayed at Casa Bianca for 2 weeks in October 2010 and had a super relaxed time there with lots of sunbathing by the pool, reading and leisurely walks in the afternoons through some truly beautiful countryside. We were a group of 5 in need of some peace and quiet and that is what we had at this large and elegant property just 15 minutes from the beaches, but far from the noise and traffic in the resorts. The rooms were big by UK standards with a touch of real luxury and comfort. The house contained everything you could expect on holiday and much more. Imagine having two separate kitchens, two lounges, a games room and a gym as well. I especially appreciate the garden retreat to the rear end of the property snuggly located behind a huge hedge and bordered by an olive grove on the other. Perfect for good read or some quiet contemplation. Before you start thinking you are in the middle of nowhere, let me just say, that the little village of A dos Francos is a mere 300 metres from the front gates and that is where we did practically all our shopping during our stay. The Portuguese bread is excellent and we used to get our daily supplies delivered from the lady that owns the local mini-market just 300 metres away. In the village you will also find a bank, cash machine, post office, 3 cafes, 2 mini markets and a pharmacy. The villa is perfect for larger groups and most especially suitable for families with children. Big games room with pool table, video games, TV, DVDs and lots for the kids to do. Would love to re-visit someday.

Excellent villa and superb hospitality by the renter. For once the reality was better than the pictures on internet. Location is peaceful and beautiful with surrounding wine and fruit plantages. Car is must to have because of the distance to the markets and bigger cities. Only improvement I can figure out is child gates fot the stairs if it is common for families like ours with little children renting the villa. Many thanks for luxury accommodation and excellent customer service! Recommended for: Adventure Seekers, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children, Romantic Getaway Owner's Response: Thanks to Robert and family for your review of Casa Bianca. Pleased you all had such a great time here in the peace and tranquility of A dos Francos even though you are actually within 15 minutes of most of the local attractions. Portugal is in fact mostly rural and therefore a car is important for getting around, unless of course you are staying in one of the towns in this area. We look forward to welcoming you here to Casa Bianca in the future.

Kortom; super!! Recommended for: Age 55+, Pet-friendly, Girls Getaway, Sightseeing, Families with Teenagers, Romantic Getaway Owner's Response: So glad you guys had a great time at Casa Bianca. We try hard to make sure the house is well equipped and pay special attention to the needs of children and teenagers so they also get the best from their time here. We really look forward to welcoming you here again.

Casa Bianca is very well equipped luxury villa with all the goodies. View around is spectacular and nice small village A Dos Francos is something you only see outside tourist areas. Our stay there was very pleasant and relaxing, just what we needed. Brendon and his team was very friendly and co-operative. We stayed there fo 9 days, but lots of things were left unseen. Really recommended for those who seek piece and relaxing time in the countryside. Owner's Response: Hello and thanks for the review. It was a real pleasure to meet and share some of useful tips about places to go and things to see. I do hope you will visit us again sometime in the future. From the whole team in A dos Francos, Good luck and best wishes.

We, a family from Germany with 3 adults an d 3 teenagers, stayed at Casa Bianca for 8 days in May/ June 2010. The Villa is tidy, clean, with a lot of space and a wonderful garden and pool. Casa Bianca is ideal for families with teenagers as we are. They loved it and so WE loves it too. Because of the great equipping, our stay was restful and pleasant. Not far away from the lovely Silver Coast ( 35 min) , the great countryside ( just open the door and you are there) and not at least Lissabon ( 45 min.) , Casa Bianca is the perfekt starting-point for any kind of trip. 8 days were much too short to see all what should have to be see. Maybe next time a little longer...... Recommended for: Adventure Seekers, Sightseeing, Families with Teenagers, Romantic Getaway Owner's Response: My thanks Heike, Andreas and all the family. 8 days. Much too short, so why not plan a longer trip next time and take time out to also relax and rest as well as go see all the wonderful sites around here. It was a pleasure to meet with you all and we are so pleased that you enjoyed your stay. It is a big house of course and as you say, great for families and larger groups. Well - We hope to be able to welcome you once again someday soon.

I visited Casa Bianca in September 2009 and found it very up to date in comparison to other places I had been to. All the facilities were superb, the games room was a definite highlight along with the lovely scenery from the big front balcony. I enjoyed taking long walks at night after dinner and in general it was a very relaxing and chilled out experience. I hope to return in the near future with family and friends. Casa Bianca is definitely one of the best holiday experiences I have had and I would highly recommend it to anyone. Recommended for: Adventure Seekers, Girls Getaway, Sightseeing, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children, People with Disabilities Owner's Response: Very grateful for your comments here and of course we would love to have you stay again, perhaps this time, as you suggest, with a larger contingent. As you know we have the space. You expressed an interest in participating in the wine harvest next year and I have since contacted the nearby vineyard who would love for you all to join in next year. The whole team here is so glad you had a nice holiday and we look forward to welcoming you back soon. Have a very happy new year in 2010.

The house was perfect for our group with large rooms and superb decor, all the mod cons, very nice village location in proximity to all the main attractions. We visited beautiful Tomar, the Templar fort about an hour's drive from the villa and though we wanted to also go to Fatima, were unable to do so that day. Obidos was a great surprise - one read so much about it prior to the visit, but we were still amazed to see how well preserved it really is. Very highly recommended. The villa is located within walking distance of two cafes, one of which serves snacks as well. Two proper restaurants are within 2 miles so plenty of choice. The nearby village has some shops, a bank, pharmacy and 2 mini markets. The one nearer the house bakes its own fresh bread each day - delicious. Lovely walks as well - the caretaker pointed us in the direction of Serra da Munto Junto, which for us was real fun as the weather was kind that day. Quite warm for this time of year. The pool table in the large games room was very useful on the two wet days we had. Highly recommended for larger groups of friends, families etc. Very spacious and comfortable. We stayed at Casa Bianca for one week and the place was unbelievable. House itself, gardens, pool, everything was clean and well looked after. There were 9 people in our group and still there was enough room for everyone. Children loved the pool, and we adults enjoyed retreat garden and the big terrace. It was nice to meet the owner when we arrived and once again as we left. Thanks Brendon, time in Casa Bianca was perfect. Weather was also great all the time and that also made us very happy! Recommended for: Age 55+, Girls Getaway, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children, Romantic Getaway Owner's Response: This year has been quite busy, and I can see, and am grateful that guests to the villa appreciate the special efforts we have made to improve the "Garden Retreat" are paying off already. Thanks to my staff and others who have worked so hard to make the house look so beautiful for the summer season.

We stayed at this property for a week at the end of April and had a great time of it. Unfortunately the weather was not kind for most of our visit and this is why I think the house was brilliant. That games room is packed with stuff from videos, music, games, books and a pool table, Play station so we just got on with it and stopped complaining about the weather! The covered BBQ was also a life saver. If anyone reads this, then I would recommend you stay here. We will be coming back for a longer stay but I see that this summer is already booked out so we could return here next year. Recommended for: Age 55+, Girls Getaway, Tourists without a Car, Sightseeing, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children, Romantic Getaway Owner's Response: Thanks for your comments. We look forward to welcoming you back here in the near future. From me and the whole team, all the best.

We visited Portugal and stayed at Casa Bianca in October 2007 for 2 weeks in some brilliant sunny warm weather. The villa was so bright, modern and well decorated with all mod cons you would expect in an expensive hotel. I noticed immediately we had no neighbours so we tended to spend most of our time outdoors in the gardens and by the pool till late each night. Star for me was the recreation room and by the way, the kids loved the pool table and PlayStation, huge collection of DVDs etc. It’s great that the villa has two lounges and that little gym. The pool and surrounds are so beautiful not to mention of course the huge balcony with those views. Your caretaker Fatima was such a Godsend especially as we arrived after 1.00 am in the dead of night and she was actually waiting for us with the keys when we got there. I would definitely recommend this property for those who like space, comfort and complete privacy. We will be returning here someday soon. Julia R from Hampshire Recommended for: Age 55+, Adventure Seekers, Girls Getaway, Sightseeing, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children, Romantic Getaway Owner's Response: Cheers Jana - We greatly appreciate these positive comments about the house and the facilities. Fatima, our caretaker, will be delighted when I tell her about this. We do make strenuous efforts to listen to customers and strive to improve and where possible, personalise the service in such a way that guests feel completely at ease and free to enjoy their hard earned vacations in the luxurious surroundings of Casa Bianca. We look forward to the coming season and hope that all our guests have a memorable and relaxing time at the villa.

We had a truly wonderful time at the villa in December 2007 so that we have decided to book again for the summer. The decor was amazing and the ambience just right. We have never in all the years of travel (31 years now) ever experienced such a fantastic combination of luxury, excellent service and support from your local staff, high standard of decor, sheer comfort, complete privacy and accessibility to all the amenities. The large room was a complete surprise, most especially for the kids. You have made sure that there is something for everyone here so we older folks were just as comfortable. The fitness studio was a tremendous bonus. The best feature for us was probably the front sun terrace with those fabulous views of the vineyards, olive trees etc. I look forward to spending a good deal of time enjoying the views when we return in the summer. Recommended for: Age 55+, Adventure Seekers, Girls Getaway, Sightseeing, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children, Romantic Getaway Owner's Response: We are delighted at the generous comments as they really represent what we try to do for our customers. I guess none of this would be possible without team effort from the caretaker, gardener and support staff in Portugal. The Silver Coast, as a destination does have a great mix of attractions, golden sandy beaches, superb restaurants, shopping and golf to name just a few things one might do whilst on holiday and Casa Bianca is within easy reach of all of these. What most guests really love about the villa is the complete privacy and security we offer. The other comment we get quite regularly is about the cleanliness, the bright airy rooms and the decor. We take the time to act upon suggestions and comments from our customers and are constantly upgrading and improving facilities.
