Wine Tour - Quinta Sanguinhal - £ 30 for 2

• Visit the old distillery, the ageing cellar for liquor wines and brandy and finally the wine tasting accompanied by typical hors-d'oeuvres. Full meals are an optional extra.

• Tour guides are on hand to provide guests with useful insight of the wine producing operation starting with information on the wine blending techniques of the vineyard.

• The programme includes a walk through the vineyards, a visit to the ancient pressing-room housing with six stone and wood manual wine presses, the old distillery, the ageing cellar of liquor wines and brandies and finally, wine tasting accompanied with hours-d'oeuvres and meal.

• A visit to the 19th century gardens as well as a visit the Quinta do Sanguinhal;

• A visit to the ancient distillery, now completely renovated, where the spirits and fortified wines used to be produced;

• A visit to the old cellar equipped with wooden presses that dates back to 1871;

• A visit to the ageing basement that houses 36 barrels.
